There are a number of ways to get it off, I use soap and water first and then Acetone. Here are the steps:

  • With a small brush, tooth brush works great, clean using soap and water.
  • Allow to dry.
  • Repeat
  • Then with the same brush, clean with Acetone, available at any hardware store.
  • Allow to dry, repeat.
Be sure to follow all safety instructions when using this Acetone it is very flammable and the fumes are very strong.

Alternatively, some people use a diluted floor cleaner with the first step.  I’ve also read that using tire cleaner works well.  I have no personal experience with these last two, but if anyone does or has another method, please let me know and I’ll post it.
