After meeting at a local convention, Chris Range of www.runebooks.com contacted Xmarx about producing some resin covers for his nooks.

He's selling a book of Cryptograms. This book was in effect a riddle from start to finish. Whomever answers the riddle wins a hard cover of the book with an egraving attached to the front and back cover. Chris has made a very intricit engraving, but didn't have the experience to make copies of it. We hooked up a few months after the convention and he commissioned Xmarx to make castings of his masters.

Masters were mounted and then prepped to remove any undercuts. Otherwise the silicone would seep into these areas and the finished casting wouldn't come out of the molds.
The Silicone was then poured over the masters and a series of castings were made with pigmented resing.
If you have something you need cast, contact Xmarx at: Contact Us and we'll see what we can come up with.
